MALVERN Joggers ace Jon Newey finished third overall in the five-mile multi-terrain Cleeve Cloud Cuckoo race.
Newey completed the undulating course in 32 minutes 41 seconds while Matthew Lancett (39.01) edged Nic Dauncey (39.05) into 40th position.
Results: Steve Roode (42.05), Ian Walwyn (43.59), Jason Protheroe (44.09), Paul Newman (44.43), Alison Priest (46.31), Amanda Duncan (48.54), Rhian Protheroe (52.45), Vivien Tolley (55.13).
Mikey Bolton and Karen Mann competed The Vitality 10k London Run in 47.46 and 49.25 respectively while Steve Ollis did the Dymock Half Marathon in two hours nine minutes.
Lynda Broadway and Mike Anstey’s latest long distance challenge was 102 miles of the North Yorkshire Moors. Their time of 44.20 beat last year’s time at the Dorset 100 by two hours and 55 minutes.
Elsewhere, Cassandra Zorra did the 5K Dorridge Run in 34.17 and Julie Caseley finished the D-Day 10k in 50.36.
