WILL Burgess produced an excellent final round to clinch The Wharton Park Cup.
Andy Gunn led the 68-strong field with an impressive 66 at the end of the first day with the cut made at 78.
Conditions were much more challenging on the second day with competition scratch for the day finishing on 73.
And it was Leigh Sinton’s Burgess who emerged as the winner after putting together a round of 69 to finish -1 on 141.
Second place went to Jimmy Sprosen with 143 and Wharton Park’s club captain Jon Shore completed the top three with 144.
