HEREFORD manager Pete Beadle will be on the lookout for a new goalkeeper this week following Oliver Davies' departure.
The 22-year-old is set to sign for either Newport County or Yeovil Town just a month after joining the Bulls.
Regular stopper Martin Horsell sustained a nasty knock to his knee during Hereford's 0-0 draw at AFC Telford today and is set to go on holiday, while youngster Max Harris will be linking up with Aston Villa next week.
Hereford's next friendly is against Cardiff City Under-23s on Wednesday.
"Ollie has had an offer from Yeovil to do a week there," said Beadle.
"I spoke to him on Thursday and they wanted him there until the end of the week.
"I then spoke to him yesterday to ask if he was with us and Yeovil wanted him to play in their game at Frome today and I think they were going to make a decision then.
"But he also said that Newport had made an offer.
"So either way, he was going to take one or the other.
"So unfortunately, Ollie has moved on, which is a shame.
"I'm disappointed because we worked hard to get him here and was looking forward to seeing him work.
"But I understand why he's done it because he wants to go back to first team football.
"It leaves us a little bit short on Wednesday,
"We have Max, but he's going to Aston Villa on Monday for a week, which is fantastic for us.
"He will be available on Wednesday, but I wouldn't take the risk in playing him in case I can get cover.
"But it's part and parcel of pre-season."
