NATALIE Bennett and Julie Caseley clinched medals in the last race of the Herefordshire Summer Cross Country Series at Shobdon Court.

Bennett took gold in the FV35 category after finishing in 40 minutes eight seconds while Caseley’s time of 48.13 saw her secure silver in the FV55.

The duo from Malvern Joggers were among a near record field of 178 runners who tackled the tough course.

The first Jogger home was Nic Dauncey in 35.19 following by Matthew Lancett (37.57), Adam Grant (38.47), Sam Eden (39.40), Bennett (40.08), Martin Reed-Darby (40.53), Paul Newman (44.19), Roger Sherriff (44.25), Roy Hart (46.12), Rhian Protheroe (47.16), Amanda Duncan (48.09), Caseley (48.13), Andy Campbell (50.07), Helen Ried (52.24), Viv Tolley (52.53) and Dave Brett (53.46).
