HANLEY Swan secured their third win in a row with a 4-2 triumph at basement boys Pittville United in Cheltenham League Division Two.

Playing on a 3G pitch and with the wind gusting, it took Hanley a while to get used to the conditions.

Blake Bishop had a number of early chances but could not find the net.

Hanley went ahead when Bishop slotted home after a run and cross by Mark Thomas.

Midway through the half Tom Morris was brought down in the box and Kevin Moore confidently put away the resulting penalty.

Hanley went three up 10 minutes before half-time when a cross from Moore was headed in by Bishop.

Dan Rawlings, back in goal, made a good save from a Pittville free-kick at the start of the second half.

At the other end, a good pass from substitute Chris Shuard set up Morris to fire home.

Pittville played passing football but Hanley’s man of the match Jamie Heason and central defensive partner Chris Aston were again solid.

Jackson McMullen hit a good chance just over and Mark Amott went close.

With 10 minutes to go, Pittville pulled a goal back and then were quickly gifted a second.

Chris Bunn came on and Hanley started a better passing game with Moore's attempted chip from a one-on-one not strong enough.
