HANLEY Swan remained third in Cheltenham League Division Two with a 3-0 win at Bredon Reserves.

The visitors overcame a strong team with an excellent all-round team performance.

Hanley were soon in front when Tom Morris headed home from a corner.

They moved the ball about well with Jackson McMullen, Ash Bloore and Jamie Heason controlling midfield.

Kevin Moore went close and the lively Cathal McTernan had a shot saved as did Bloore before half-time.

Bredon came into the game more but Hanley’s back four were equal to the task and keeper Dan Rawlings snuffed out any danger.

Bloore went close and Moore demanded another save before Morris latched onto a pass from Bloore and calmly hit the ball over the advancing keeper.

McMullen put the result beyond doubt when he powerfully headed into the net.

James Holloway's free-kick brought another fine save from the Bredon man of the match.

Hanley visit Tewksbury Town on Saturday in the Junior Charity Trophy semi-finals at All Saints Academy, Cheltenham (4pm).
