SIMON Richardson was first home for Malvern Joggers in both the Broadway Tower charity race and Magic Roundabout 10k.

The runner clocked 36 minutes 59 seconds at Broadway's five-mile multi-terrain evening event in warm conditions which raised money for Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven and UK Sepsis Trust. 

Also involved were Joggers' Ian Dyson (44.40), Mike Bolton (46.56), Claire Haynes (47.38), Kareen Mann (48.16), Jason Protheroe (49.42), Ian Walwyn (50.17), Adam Hall (51.16), Julie Caseley (52.09), Alison Priest (56.45), Viv Tolley (57.41), Patricia Johnson (57.32), Emma White (1.03.48) and Laura Williams (1.15.35).

Richardson did 46.24 at the 10k off-road race with views of the Black Mountains.

Andrew Brown finished in 54.20, Bolton 56.52, Walwyn 58.52, Priest 1.04.40 and Tolley 1.12.15.

Julie Caseley competed in the 39th Man versus Horse Marathon in Llanwrtyd Wells.

The annual race pitted runners against horses and riders over a 22-mile course and around 3,000 feet of ascent and descent.

The first horse and rider beat the leading individual runner by 27 seconds while Caseley finished in 4.48.25 and won a trophy for second woman over 55.

The Bumble Bimble 10-mile run through the Worcestershire countryside was completed by Joggers' Sue Lewis in 2.29.59, Kay Chambers in 2.20.31, Laura Johnson in 2.20.34 and Theresa Gilbert in 2.38.13.

Lynda Broadway and Mike Anstey competed in the Endure 24-hour relay in a team of eight near Reading.
