MALVERN Victoria have hit a purple patch as they bagged a hat-trick of victories in the space of nine days.
The Malvern club bounced back from defeats to local rivals Manor Park and a powerful Worcester team with three wins on the spin.
The first of those came against Stourport on Saturday, July 21 as they won the closely-fought match 81-77.
The top rink was Kit Aldridge, Phil Wiggins and Don Handy who triumphed 22 -15.
Andy Bowen who stood in for club captain Wiggins then led Victoria to a 66-55 victory over Malvern Priory on Tuesday, July 24 with Aldridge, Sandy Childs and John Palmer winning their rink 31-9.
Victoria made it three victories in a row on Sunday when they thumped Kingsland 92-46 in Hereford.
The top rink was Sal di Chiara, John Palmer and Tom Bellis who clinched a 29 -5 victory.
In the Les Thomas Triples League, Victoria Plums saw off Manor Park Amber on Wednesday, July 18, taking all six points.
Don Handy, Henry Steer and Simon Brown won 17-13 while John Ratcliffe, Margaret Wynne-Owen and John Smith triumphed 17-16.
Victoria Marks drew 33-33 with Tewksbury before beating Victoria Plums on Wednesday, July 25.
Meanwhile, Malvern Victoria Ladies suffered two successive defeats, losing 42-29 to Manor Park and 37-30 to Worcester.
