MALVERN Cave won a pre-season friendly 3-2 at higher-graded Severnside Star.
Their depleted squad took an early lead through the instrumental Ralph Ndongo Evina.
Matt McIntosh added a second for his third goal in three games after slick build-up play.
A goal soon followed for Ash Porter with his fourth in three appearances.
Ash Hill saved well as Star threatened to equalise having scored twice in the second half due to tiring Cave legs.
Cave's man of the match was Dave Hayman who never stopped running in high temperatures.
They are looking for another sponsor and can be contacted via Twitter @MalvernCave or email at Malverncavefc@gmail.com.
