LEDBURY Town are looking for a new manager after manager Phil Preedy quit the New Street outfit.
The former Hereford United man left his position at the West Midlands Premier Division club last week citing work commitments.
Ledbury have made a disappointing start to the campaign losing eight of their 11 games to date, the latest being a 2-1 reverse against Heath Town Rangers.
Preedy had been at the helm at New Street since January 2007 taking over from Paul Wilband.
Since standing down from the Ledbury hotseat, Chris Powell and Shaun Price have taken temporary charge of team affairs.
The players put in an improved performance in the Wednesday night defeat to Heath.
The visitors took the lead before Duncan Preedy levelled matters for Ledbury.
The New Street side came close to taking the lead in their Premier Division match hitting the crossbar three times and the post.
The hosts were then awarded a penalty, however, Stuart Hall drilled the spot-kick straight at the visiting keeper.
After failing to put away their chances against Heath, Ledbury were made to pay as the visitors grabbed the winning goal.
On Saturday, Powell and Price’s men entertain table-topping Darlaston (3pm) as they aim to end losing run.
Anyone wishing to apply for the manager’s job at New Street should contact Chris Stephens on 07513-163984.
