LEDBURY 24, OLD SILHILLIANS 3.
LEDBURY produced a good performance to beat Silhillians in this penultimate game of league two in their eighth win in a row.
Silhillians kicked off, and despite the forwards working their way down-field, the Silhillians fly-half kept Ledbury pinned back by using the wind, this resulted in a penalty for Sihillians 3-0.
Ledbury lost George Webster due to a calf injury, which brought on Will Tucker, who inspired a backs move with Rob Houlbrooke moving from one wing to the other to make the extra man, and Matt Oliver scoring in the corner.
Ledbury were guilty of squandering countless overlap opportunities, but Jamie Renfield bulldozed his way over for another try before half-time Jack Lambert converted to make it 12-3.
Sam Critchard used the wind well in the second-half from full-back, and launched a succesful counter attack for Matt Bridger to score in the corner.
The back row of Harri Williams, Charlie Smith, George Phelps and Chris Jones were again dominant, Silhillians did well to cope with the front-row of Troy McCauley, Ed Rowberry and Spencer Derrick.
