TEN Malvern Joggers tackled the Muddy Woody Six race in icy Herefordshire conditions.
The race, organised by the Wye Valley Runners near Mordiford, is always a complete sell-out.
Nearly 300 runners tackled Haugh Woods and did battle with the 6.8-mile course which had a stream crossing a scramble up a long muddy bank.
First Malvern male to finish was Sam Burnage and the first female was Megan Judge.
Julie Caseley, Claire Gilbert, Nick Hitchings, Steve Roode, Alison Hughes, Amanda Duncan, Lynda Broadway and Jenni Neale also took part.
A few fell, some more than once, while Neale twisted her knee just over a mile into the race but still managed to finish. Caseley won her age category.
