DEPLETED Ledbury Swifts Rovers travelled to Hinton Colts in the RS Signs and Engraving Under 13s Cup and ran out worthy 4-1 victors in heavy conditions.
Several chances were wasted until Ledbury’s Sam Branch emphatically struck home after a quick break.
After the break, Hinton levelled early against the run of play when an unchallenged run fell for the hosts’ striker to shoot home.
Ledbury were reduced to 10 players after an injury but this seemed to galvanise the visitors.
They were soon in front when Kieran Loveridge coolly finished and he then struck again with a thunderous volley into the roof of the net.
In the final minutes, a quick break ended with a neat finish from Branch to complete the scoring for his side.
