EASTNOR are calling on the local community to help out during the NatWest CricketForce weekend from March 30 until April 1.

They are welcoming volunteers, as well as members and their families, to lend a hand in helping spruce up the club for the forthcoming season.

Refreshments will be available on the days, which begin at 10am, for willing participants.

Club chairman Jim Sandford said: “We’re all looking forward to welcoming new faces as well as old to the club to help us ensure our facilities are ready for the 2012 season.

“The work planned for the weekend will give the club a huge boost as, without the help and support of our friends, the work would cost hundreds of pounds but all we are asking is that people give a few hours of their time.”
