Higgins will take on Stephen Lee at the Forum Theatre when the PartyPoker.com Premier League takes centre stage on Thursday, October 11.

The Sky Sports event, in its 27th season, will also feature world number one Mark Selby against Chinese ace Ding Junhui.

It is the first time Malvern has been included on the 11-date calendar since being dropped following poor ticket sales in 2009, the last of three successive years at the venue.

Each match is over six frames with two points for a win and one for a draw.
