VELO Club Sevale’s Jez Pile won their championship on The Rhydd course with a time of 56 minutes 48 seconds.
He was second overall on the night on a 24-mile course, which was revised because of roadworks, as Worcester St John’s rider Mark Corbett finished first in 56.30.
Next Thursday’s event is a 10-mile time trial, using the Leigh Sinton course. Signing- on is from 7pm in the layby about half-a-mile west of the village on the A4103.
