Unbeaten run intact as Hills go second

MALVERN Hills moved up to second place in Worcester and District League Saturday Division Two by extending their unbeaten run to five games with a 3-3 draw at league-leaders Worcester Anchors.

Hills started poorly after Dan Tedds was pressured into scoring an own-goal, but the visitors levelled when Luke Carter found James Price out on the wing and he took an optimistic stike at goal which went in off the cross-bar.

The roles then reversed as Price found Carter to shoot from 25 yards into the top corner.

Matt McIntosh then made it 3-1 before half time, finding space in the box to finish into the bottom corner.

Ryan Clarke made numerous saves in the Malvern goal, but pressure told as Anchors scored two late goals to earn a draw.
