They lost at Oldswinford and Stourbridge Social thirds by 22 runs after being bowled out for 149 in reply to 171 all out.

Todd Mathews (4-62) was Hanley Castle and Upton’s main wicket-taker.

West Malvern stormed to a 10-wicket thrashing of hosts Barnt Green thirds in Division Five after skittling them for just 28.

The villagers’ opening bowlers caused havoc with Peter O’Connell taking 6-10 from 10.1 overs and Rowan Dakin 4-18 from 11.
