LEADERS Worcester Nomads stormed onwards with a fourth straight win in Worcestershire League Second XI Division One.
They were inspired by an unbeaten 115 from Derek Austin and 7-27 from Patrick O’Driscoll at Redditch.
Second-placed Worcester beat Hagley thanks to another fine knock of 91 from Rob Goodman.
Holders Stourport won against Colwall, surpassing the visitors’ 289-5 with just three balls left thanks to Allan Moss (99) and Cristian Parry (96). Belbroughton overtook Colwall by defeating Netherton.
Pedmore’s father-and-son signings from Stourbridge, Ian and Wyll Smith, made 102 and 91 not out respectively in beating Evesham.
In Division Two, Feckenham remained top after a big win at Droitwich and Bromyard returned to winning ways at Burghill with Mike Reece taking 5-21. Enville beat Rushwick.
In Division Three, Chaddesley Corbett maintained their 22-point margin over Five Ways Old Edwardians after they both achieved 20-point wins over Kidderminster and Worcester Dominies respectively.
A high-scoring draw saw Old Vigornians declare on 274-5, with Riswan Ashraf making 138no, and then restrict Claverley to 266-8.
Himbleton are flying high in Division Four after a fourth straight win, this time at 10-man Martley.
