WORCESTER Nomads suffered their only defeat during the second half of the season as Colwall recorded a Worcestershire Cricket League Division One double.

Tom Coleman hit 117 for runners-up Colwall and Dan Newby took five wickets as even the league’s highest scorer Innocent Kaia could not prevent his side losing.

Stourport ended their debut top-flight season with victory at home to Pedmore as Andy Siwicki made 98.

At Droitwich, Belbroughton subsided to another defeat and will join Oldswinford and Stourbridge Social in Division Two.

Oldswinford lost thanks to 16-year-old Charlie Barton’s 5-31 for Cookley.

Division Two champions Redditch slumped to a heavy defeat with Bromyard’s Greg Leighton taking 8-52 on a damp track.

Feckenham’s defeat of Enville settled their promotion and condemned their opponents to relegation as Danny Bloomer rattled up 108 unbeaten.

Chaddesley Corbett finished third after a win at home to Lye with Asif Iqbal scoring 100 and Mohammed Saddiq taking 6-40.

Wormelow had a losing draw at Worcester Dominies, who were fired by Jon Hancock’s 158.

There was an exciting win by just two runs for Evesham over Combs Wood with Fahim Maan taking 6-36.

In Division Three, Rushwick beat Barnards Green and relegated Malvern carved out a 10-wicket win at home to Himbleton.

Second XI Division One Champions Worcester Nomads beat Colwall thanks to Ollie Ranscombe’s second successive century and a maiden one for Nick Jones.

In Division Two at Bromyard, Mike Reece scored 112 for the losing hosts in reply to Droitwich’s 278-5, which included 163 from Chris Lester.

In Division Three, Bromsgrove hammered Kidderminster with captain Neale Ingram scoring 151 not out alongside a century from 15-year-old Tom Downing.

In Division Four, Himbleton’s Andrew Street scored 145, which was one more than Malvern’s George Parsons, but the former’s side won by 69 runs.
