THE Worcestershire Cricket League programme was decimated by the wet weather.

Out of the 24 first XI matches scheduled only four reached conclusions as the other 20 were abandoned without a ball bowled.

In Division Two, Himbleton snatched a winning draw at Enville.

After winning the toss in a match reduced to 60 overs, Enville inserted the visitors.

Middle-order batsman Sean Jenkins smashed an undefeated 90 to help set a challenging target of 183 in 30 overs.

Enville lost their first four wickets for just over 80 runs before Mitch Jones (50 not out) and Spencer Mann (58no) resurrected the victory charge.

But they ran out of time as their 97-run partnership left them just one short.

Belbroughton made it two wins as they dodged the weather at Hackmans Gate Lane.

They won the toss and bowled Bartestree and Lugwardine out for a meagre 87 before making light work of the total to gain a 20-point win.

In Division Four, Stourbridge grabbed an exciting victory against Claverley after dismissing the hosts for 120.

A solid first-innings batting display by Tenbury in a rain-reduced game at Himley saw them post a challenging 173-4 in 20 overs.

The home side were never really in the hunt despite a resolute 58 from Oliver Baker and eventually fell 11 runs short on 119-6 which gave Tenbury a maximum-point winning draw.
