MEGAN Jones scored twice as Welland Juniors Girls under 13s beat Newtown Sports 3-0 in a Mercian Festival Junior League derby.

She struck a fierce volley from a cross by Olivia Baker- Law who fired in a second before Jones was set up by Xara Furniss to complete the scoring in the first-half.

Improving Leigh and Bransford Badgers Spurs lost 2-1 at home to leaders Worcester Youth in Under 13s Division One.

A spirited display saw Spurs take a half-time lead through Dan Medakovic's free-kick but Youth levelled and their pressure eventually led to a winner five minutes from time.

Harry Egan netted a consolation as Leigh and Bransford Badgers Orient fell 3-1 to Worcester Lions Community Juniors in Under Nines Division Two.

Impact substitute Will Dunaway was voted playerof- the-match.
