MALVERN Premiers’ annual Dave Stone Memorial Trophy game ended in a thrilling 7-7 draw between the teams of Dan Stone and Ken Brown.
The match went to a penalty shoot-out with Keith Reynolds netting the decisive spot-kick to win the trophy for Stone’s side.
Dave Stone was a well known figure in the 1990s on the local Malvern football scene and a 140-strong crowd came out to support the event.
Tim Preece took the manof- the-match award for his superb midfield play.
After the match, a raffle and player donations raised more than £200 for both Stroke UK and Ronald Mc- Donald House.
Meanwhile, a combined Malvern Rangers and Keys Old Boys side will host Intermilokal Old Boys on Sunday, November 3 (2pm) in another game in aid of Ronald McDonald House.
