LEDBURY Town hope to play their first match in three weeks tomorrow when they host Hereford Lads Club in a West Midlands Football League Division One Cup derby (3pm).
The New Street side have not kicked a ball in anger since drawing 4-4 at Mahal on December 21, leaving them 11th in the table.
Home matches against Stone Old Alleynians and Wyrley were postponed due to waterlogged pitches, as was Wednesday’s Worcester Infirmary Cup second-round tie at Malvern Town.
Tomorrow, Ledbury players have their fingers crossed for better weather in order to stage their first-round encounter.
l Ledbury Rugby Club are set to visit Southam tomorrow in Midlands Three West (South). It has been almost a month since the Ross Road outfit last played, winning 16-12 at Pershore on December 14, as their home match against Shipston fell foul of the weather last Saturday.
Ledbury are fourth in the table on 38 points, three behind third-placed Old Yardleians and only five shy of leaders Pinley.
