MALVERN Town have changed the name of the Langland Stadium to reflect their sponsorship deal.

After receiving significant financial backing from owner Chris Pinder’s Malvern Link-based technology company HD Connectivity, their Langland Avenue home will now be known as the HDanywhere Community Stadium.

The team hope that the move will highlight both the club and company’s commitment to their local community.

Half-season tickets, valid until January 1, will be available from Saturday, July 12, from the 1946 Club Bar for £40, entitling entry to all friendlies, cup and league fixtures for the under 18s and 21s, women and first team.

Match-day tickets for the first team remain at £4 for adults, £2 for OAPs and are free for under 16s.

The 1946 Club will be open from noon on weekends and 6pm in midweek.

Meanwhile, Malvern have revealed they will not play a friendly with Hereford United, who are under controversial new ownership.

Town will offer free entry to Hereford fans for the first five games if they can present an Edgar Street season ticket from the past two campaigns.
