Meanwhile, Malvern Town Wanderers secured their first win of the season with a hard-earned 4-2 victory over Bidford Juniors Pioneers.

The Ambassador Evesham League Under 15s Pool ‘A’ clash saw Owen Willmott calmly give Wanderers an early lead.

A series of errors saw the visitors score the softest of goals only for a fine far-post strike from Senan McCullough to restore the lead.

But Bidford levelled again with the last kick of the first-half.

The second period saw Malvern dictate matters with an improved passing game.

Will Smith scored from close range and Adam Rushton fired home from the penalty spot. The home defence was well marshalled by man-of-the match Luke Norris.
