WELLAND bid to add to their Cheltenham Association League Division Three title with a Junior Charity Cup triumph.
They tackle fellow high-fliers Leckhampton Rovers in the final at Bishops Cleeve on Tuesday (7pm).
Firstly, Welland, managed by Dave Oakley and Tony Smith, host third-placed Brockworth Albion Reserves at Spitalfield in the league tomorrow (3pm).
They saw off Pittville United 4-3 in their last match with an injury-time Mark Taylor header.
Welland took a second-minute lead when Simon Barnett played in James Lush, who ran on to bury a left-footed strike.
Pittville levelled moments later after a mix-up between the defence and keeper Niall Hacking.
But Taylor won the ball back on 12 minutes and played a one-two with Lush before lobbing the onrushing keeper. Taylor hit the post and Jamie Harding went close before Pittville equalised just before half-time.
Welland regained the lead with 20 minutes left when Barnett supplied top-scorer Omar Elmougy to net but Pittville bundled in a long throw to level.
The hosts’ persistence was rewarded in the 92nd minute when Taylor headed in Dave Knapper’s corner.
