LEDBURY Swifts Rovers under-17s lifted the Herefordshire Junior Football League’s HGTA Cup after beating Pegasus Juniors 4-0 in the final.

They scored a minute before the break at Westfields’ Allpay Park ground, in Hereford, with a well-taken goal by Andy Dix in a tight first period.

A second-half goal by Lewis Potter after good work by Charlie Docherty and a penalty from Charlie White made it 3-0.

Potter then sealed the game with a 30-yard volley to give Ledbury a 4-0 win over the Hereford outfit.

Three days earlier, Ledbury lost 1-0 to Hinton when they conceded a penalty in extra time after both teams were level in the Herefordshire FA Youth Cup final.

In Herefordshire Junior League games, Bromyard beat Ledbury Swifts 5-3 in the Under-15s HGTA Division and they beat the same club 7-5 in the Under-13s HGTA Division.
