POWICK Rangers and Malvern Town Under-21s both suffered 3-1 defeats in their third West Midlands Football League Division Two games of the season.

Malvern fell at Red Star Alma while Powick were beaten at home by Newport Town.

Promoted Bromyard Town picked up a fourth Premier Division point of the season with a 3-3 draw at home to Cradley Town.

Luke Molloy and Shane Smallcross were among the scorers for Bromyard, who then lost 4-0 at home to Wolverhampton Casuals on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Upton Town kick off their Cheltenham Association League, Division One season next Tuesday at Gala Wilton Reserves. Hanley Swan host Welland in Division Two on Wednesday (6.15pm).

On the same evening, promoted Malvern Vale entertain Staunton and Corse Reserves in Division Four, while Welland Reserves are at home to Malvern Vale Reserves in Division Five.
