THREE supporters have been banned from Edgar Street for the rest of the season following incidents at recent matches.
Hereford FC have said that officials have worked closely with West Mercia Police's Harm Reduction and Anti-Social Behaviour Unit before serving the banning orders, which will be enforced up until Friday, June 30, 2017.
All three supporters are male, with two of the bans relating to incidents at the FA Trophy tie at Salisbury on Saturday, October 8 and the other as a result of problems at the home game against Paulton Rovers three days later.
"Each individual has been contacted in writing and notified of the reasons for the decision," reads a club statement.
"As part of a new police initiative, police officers may also decide to speak to those involved – with one interview already known to have taken place.
"Hereford FC club officials would like to state categorically that they have taken no pleasure in making the decisions to hand out these banning orders, but do feel they have a duty to act to protect the reputation of the club and ensure that the actions of a small number of individuals do not have a detrimental impact on the football experiences enjoyed by the overwhelming majority of the club’s fantastic supporters."
