HEREFORD have confirmed that full-back Adam Davies has rejoined Merthyr Town.
Davies only joined Hereford last month, but will be eligible to play for Merthyr once he has received international clearance.
Speaking to the Hereford Times this morning, Hereford manager Pete Beadle said he had still not heard from Davies despite leaving him a message.
"I'm just disappointed with how it's panned out," said Beadle.
"Steve Jenkins has a text from him on the Thursday before the Bridgwater game stating his reasons, but I don't believe them and think it's a bit of a cover up.
"He knew what was expected of him when we signed him and for him to say what he has, I find incredible.
"We even paid him a bit of money when he wasn't playing because he was waiting for his international clearance, so the least he could have done was have the courtesy to ring me and give his reasons."
