MALVERN Vale are through to the Worcestershire FA Sunday Minor Cup semi-finals after a 1-0 win against fellow McDonald’s Worcester and District League club Worcester Lynx.

Oscar Hooper grabbed the vital goal and they will now play Evesham League outfit Harvington who thrashed Hallow Reserves 6-1.

But Callow End’s Sunday Premier Cup adventure ended with a 5-0 semi-final defeat at reigning holders and hot favourites Black Horse.

They put up a brave fight and were just 1-0 down after an hour but then red cards for Matt Murphy and Adam Harris made their task impossible as Horse reached their 12th final in the competition with clinical finishing.

In the Sunday Premier Division, Chris Ridings and Joe Wood both bagged braces as Upton Snodsbury beat The Bell @ Pensax 4-1.

Worcester Saints won by the same scoreline at Colwall Village with goals from Paul Smith, Mike Kirby, Leon Roberts and Shane Shallcross.

Ed Lyons and Dave Reynolds were on target for The Gloster Arms in a 2-1 Malvern derby win over Falcons.

The match of the day in Division One saw FC Sporting Worcester win 5-3 at St Johns with Kyle Belmonte scoring twice for the visitors.

Drakes Broughton Rangers still lead the table with Simon Dorrell notching a double and then being sent off as they beat Fernhill Heath Athletic 4-1.

Adam Clay hit a hat-trick for Virgin Athletic who crushed Ale Madrid 6-1 and Jon Speak bagged two for Hallow Village who lost 3-2 at home to Northwick Arms.

Clifton Rovers are the new leaders of Division Two after an 8-0 demolition of Hornets with Mike Fellows and Alex Cope both netting twice.

Jack Pomroy and Connor Grant also bagged braces as Korono inflicted a shock 5-3 defeat on title contenders Arrow.

Jake Churchill and Jon King were on the scoresheet for Malvern Rangers who won 2-1 at Perrywood Reserves.

A single strike from Mike Keay gave Colwall St James victory at Pershore Town Eagles.

The prolific Martin Fowler cracked another hat-trick to take his tally of league goals to 23 as Division Three leaders VBL Sports won 4-1 at The Bell @ Pensax Reserves.

There were two goals each for Kieran Hawkes in Kempsey United’s 4-3 win against Droitwich Spa Eagles and Damien Hill of Powick who beat New Inn Saints 3-1.

Shooting star of the day was Louis Baker of Brewers Arms who netted four times in his side’s 6-2 success at GDL Athletic.

There was a double each for Steve Pitt of Eaton Rovers who beat Grosvenor Sports 5-2 and Harry Beaumont as Riley’s Sports triumphed 6-2 at Worcester Saints Reserves.

Northside are through to the Baylis Cup quarter-finals where they will play Sporting Worcester with Pete Moore smashing a first-half hat-trick in their 5-2 win over Worcester City Wanderers.

Simon Hill scored twice as Claines sunk Riverside 5-2 in the Katherine Rayer Cup first round.
