HEREFORD FC have claimed back-to-back promotions after thrashing Salisbury 4-0 this afternoon.

The Bulls were rampant, and with nearest rivals Taunton and Tiverton both losing, it means that they cannot be caught at the top of the Southern League Division One South & West title.

It is now highly likely that Hereford will be in the Southern Premier League next season.

Hereford made an electric start and were 2-0 up inside the first 13 minutes.

Mike Symons opened the scoring with a header in the fifth minute before Jamie Molyneux bundled home an effort following a corner.

And when Pablo Haysham rifled home an unstoppable shot in the 31st minute, it felt that this could be Hereford's day.

Hereford knew they would be champions with a win today, as long as Taunton lost at Evesham and Tiverton dropped points at Wimborne.

And that is exactly what happened with Taunton and Tiverton both losing.

However, the Bulls fans had to wait until after final time to find out the Evesham score.

A large cheer went up when they heard the Worcestershire side had sealed the win with a 2-0 win.

Hundreds of fans then celebrated on the pitch with the players.

The attendance at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium was 1,807.

The Bulls are back at home next Saturday when they entertain Wantage Town.

That match has been made all-ticket, with details here.
