HANLEY Swan won their final Cheltenham Football League Division Three game of the season 7-1 at Falcons Reserves.

The early exchanges were fairly even although third-placed Hanley had an early effort from James Moule ruled out for offside.

Josh Fernie then had a good effort saved by the home keeper but it was not too long before Hanley took the lead.

A good run from Ash Bloore saw him pass for Fernie to score from close range.

Minutes later they extended their lead when man of the match Luke Duffett ran through and put the ball in the back of the net.

Falcons were relying on the long ball but Hanley defended well with Chris Aston, Lewis Hill and James Holloway all having good games.

Hanley keeper Dan Rawlings was forced to make a couple of good saves before Fernie smashed the ball home at the other end to make it 3-0 at half-time.

The second period saw Hanley have an early chance but Fernie headed wide.

Some good play from Cathal McTernan then set up Bloore to score with a low shot.

Further chances fell to Fernie and Bloore but Falcons broke and pulled a goal back.

Kev Moore then made a run down the left and passed to fellow substitute Chris Shuard who hit the ball home to restore Hanley's four-goal lead.

Moore then hit the bar form a corner.

With their keeper stranded up the field following a corner Hanley broke and Adam Webb hit a 30-yard shot into an empty net.

Moore then completed the scoring when he broke down the left and lobbed the ball over the Falcons keeper.

Hanley play Tenbury United in the Worcestershire FA Saturday Minor Cup final on Saturday at Claines Lane, Worcester (2pm).

In Division One Welland won 2-1 at Bishops Cleeve Thirds with a brace from Omar Elmougy.

Fourth-from-bottom Upton Town host Falcons on Saturday and second-placed Welland visit Leckhampton Rovers.

Chris Husband scored as struggling Malvern Vale lost 3-1 at home to Windyridge Rovers in Division Four.
