Jamie Harding scored all four goals for lower-ranked Welland with Luke Duffett and Adam Webb replying.
Upton Town went down 4-1 at Bishops Cleeve A in Cheltenham Association League Division One.
Fifth-placed Welland thrashed Smiths Athletic 5-1 in Gloucestershire Northern Senior League Division Two.
James Lush scored twice with David Lawrence, Aaron Richards and Paul Edwards also on target.
Welland visit Upton St Leonards on Saturday.
In Cheltenham League Division One, sixth-placed Upton host RSG.
Hanley Swan entertain Prestbury Rovers in Division Two and Welland Reserves go to Fintan Reserves in Division Four.
