HEREFORD manager Pete Beadle says he wants his team to pit themselves against a Football League team in the second round of the FA Cup.

The Bulls beat AFC Telford United 1-0 yesterday, with the draw being made at 7pm tomorrow night.

"A home draw would be great and we would love to test ourselves against League opposition," said Beadle.

"There's a few that have gone.

"Maidstone have won at Cheltenham so we would love a home game and a league side because we want to play the best teams and challenge ourselves and see where we are.

"We want to play here, the theatre of dreams, Edgar Street, with all that FA Cup history and the stuff that goes with it.

"This is where it all happens for us.

"This is where we come to play and this is where we want to be.

"Anything at home would be perfect."

John Mills, who scored the winning goal against Telford, said he doesn't mind who Hereford are drawn against.

"The third round is so close when the big boys come in, but with the way we're playing, I'll take anyone," he said.

Mills' goal after the capitalised on a parried Pablo Haysham shot.

Haysham says it's a dilemma when thinking about who he wants in the next round.

"Do you want one that you think you can beat or do you want a big one?" he asked.

"At the end of the day, you can go out to a team you think you can beat, so ultimately we will look to who we get and go from there."

Goalkeeper Martin Horsell was arguably man of the match after making a number of key saves.

He said it will be great to play at a big stadium.

"We're very lucky here and of course the lads will take a home draw, but on the other hand it will be great to play at a big stadium," said Horsell.
