VBL Sports are through to the Worcestershire FA Saturday Minor Cup semi-finals after an 8-3 extra-time win against Hanley Swan.
In an ill-disciplined match which saw three players sent off and six cautioned, Elliot King and Ollie Dyde both hit hat-tricks for Worcester League outfit VBL.
They are joined in the last four by the holders Powick with Ricky Buckland and Sean Smith scoring twice as they beat Droitwich Spa Reserves 4-1.
Four Worcester League teams reached the quarter-finals of the Worcestershire FA Sunday Premier Cup.
Garry Price netted four for Arrow 2000 who won 5-1 against Hallow Village.
There were two goals each for Richard Congrave in Upton Snodsbury’s 4-1 home win over Victoria Barnt Green and Aaron Morris of Perrywood, who defeated Queens Head Dons 3-1.
Powick went through 3-1 after extra-time at Wolverley Athletic.
In the Sunday Minor Cup, Ash Millard bagged two for Brewers who won 4-1 against Ambassador.
In Worcester League Division Two, there was a brace each for Leon Roberts of West Midland, who thumped Perrywood Reserves 5-1, and Charlie Driscoll in Goodrest Juniors’ 3-1 victory over Worcester Saints.
Shaun Wade netted twice as New Barbourne beat St John’s 4-1 in Division One and Nathan Hayward cracked a hat-trick for AA Chequers, who defeated Northwick Vale 4-2.
Shane Smith and Steve Coopey fired trebles and Jack Humphreys a double as Hallow thrashed Droitwich RBL 10-1 in Division Three.
In Saturday League Division One, Ryan Mellor notched a double for the University of Worcester, who won 4-3 at Newtown Sports.
Sam Brown netted four as Worcester Rangers crushed Tenbury Colts 5-0 in Division Two.
The Railway Train hammered West Malvern TC 9-0 with Shane Calder grabbing a hat-trick. Steve Allsopp scored twice for Northway, who were 5-2 winners over Perrywood.
