BROTHER and sister fighters stole the show at the Master Harrison junior tae kwon do tournament.

Chantry High School, Martley, students Emily Everard, 13, and Tom Everard, 15, battled their way to gold medal places in both point-stop and light continuous, leaving the crowds in awe of their talents.

Both of the Bromyard tae kwon do students have already fought in full-contact on live television as Malvern Martial Arts kickboxers.

But they took a step down from the ring to put on a fantastic display of light-contact fighting skills at Worcester’s Perdiswell Leisure Centre.

For the talented Tom Everard, the competition represented a gentle warm-up for his forthcoming British title fight in November.

His coach Julian Burton will look for more semi-pro bouts, when the teenager turns 16.

Anyone wanting to support or train with the Everards can call Mr Burton on 07770-822033.

Malvern Martial Arts Centre is based in Leigh Sinton at The Old Somers Arms, Hereford Road, while Bromyard Tae Kwon Do train at The Bromyard Centre, Cruxwell Street.
