CSSC Ramblers consolidated their position at the top of Paperstation Malvern League Division One.

They enjoyed a 9-1 victory over Ledbury Lions with Chris Hewitt maintaining his 100 per cent record, supported by Graham Thompson’s maximum.

Alan Salisbury added two wins, while Richard Smith replied for Lions.

Broadheath Belters defeated Ledbury Rovers 7-3 with three victories from Michael Siket and Ben Bennett.

Jack Castle, Bryan Farr and James Dance claimed one each for Rovers.

Manor Park Express lost 8-2 to Ledbury Collection, who were fired by trebles from Trevor Davies and Nigel Foreshew alongside Ann Barnes’ single success.

Manor Park Travellers defeated Manor Park Pumas 7-3 thanks to another three wins for Craig Preece, who was backed up by Toby Wren (2) and Martin Snee.

Geoff Woodward (2) and Dave Hallam replied.

Crackpots ‘E’ continued their fine start to the Division Two season with a 9-1 victory over Upton.

They were fired by maximums from Matt Hodges and Dave Steen with support from Anthea Knight (2), while Roger Davies replied for Upton.

YMCA Vulcans defeated Manor Park Wanderers 7-3 with two wins each for John Cawthra, Richard Bennett and Paul Egerton.

Charlie Burford (2) and Stan Mason replied for Wanderers.

Crackpots ‘D’ overcame the under strength CSSC Nomads 8-2 with two wins for Frank Lane, which were supported by Bob Rhodes and James Palmer.

Adrian Fray bagged two for Nomads in response.

Poolbrook Dynamos beat Scuttling Gang 6-4 with three more triumphs for Geoff Burford and two for John Phillips.

Richard Cullis (2), Richard McKenna and Ray Davies hit back for Scuttling Gang. In Division Three, X Police earned another victory with a 6-4 success against Poolbrook Juniors.

There were two wins each for James Mulka and Alan Holmes, which were supported by Alan Preece.

James Glazzard and Zoe Snee confirmed their youthful promise with two wins each for Juniors.

Bromyard Hopefuls beat Crackpots ‘B’ 7-3 with Ed Tinton winning three, David Gwilt two and Martin Gwilt one. Stan Gynn, Alan Forsdike and Ted Cates bagged one each for Crackpots.

Devils overcame Abbeydowne 7-3 with a treble for Peter Harding alongside two wins for Liz Hallam and one for Denis Chetwood.

Chris Burrows (2) and Niels Eriksson were successful for Abbeydowne.

Poolbrook Rangers overcame Manor Park Crackpots 8-2 with three successes for newcomer Barry Barwick.

He was supported by Rob Weston and Nick Haggar with two victories each. Stephen Lindner struck back with a double for Crackpots.
