SIXTEEN Malvern Joggers competed in the Cheer Five event at Wichenford’s Cob House Fisheries.
The race was organised by members of Worcesters Black Pear Running Club and offered a multi-terrain course over a distance of 5.4 miles around rural Worcestershire.
The sun came out for the Bank Holiday contest and encouraged lots of spectators at the family-friendly event.
Ben Toon led the way home for the Joggers, finishing in a time of 39 minutes 54 seconds.
He was followed by Megan Judge, who finished as third woman overall in 40.56, and Mark Gingell in 44.04.
Malvern’s Ian Walwyn clocked 44.47, Paul Webb 45.45, Debbie Parker 48.52, Adam Hall 49.02, Mike Anstey 49.10, Amanda Duncan 49.23, Geoff Heron 50.06, Julia Heron 52.28, Mike Spragg 53.38, Viv Tolley 53.56, Lynda Broadway 53.57, Shona Toon 54.53 and Annie Robson one hour two minutes 36 seconds.
