COLWALL Cricket Club's Under-11s finished runners-up to Earlswood in the final of the Worcestershire eight-a-side trophy.
Colwall had progressed to the final with an unbeaten run throughout the season, winning against strong opposition including Barnards Green, Worcester, Rushwick, Martley and knocking out Kidderminster in the semis.
Colwall batted well in the heavy dew on Sunday morning, but a strong bowling attack from Earlswood restricted Colwall to 266.
Despite Colwall taking two early wickets, Earlswood gathered momentum with their last four batsmen to overhaul Colwall’s total with balls to spare.
