THE Swiss resort of Champery played host to the Welsh Alpine Skiing Championships.
Racer Marnie Probert, a pupil at Malvern St James School, won gold in the under-12s slalom, clocking a time of 36.48 seconds for the 51-gate course.
Younger sister Myrtle was just 0.14 seconds behind and took the silver medal.
The form was reversed the following day in the giant slalom with Myrtle this time taking the win by 0.43 seconds with Marnie second.
Both girls train at Gloucester Ski Club and compete on snow again at the end of March at the British Alpine Championships in Tignes, France.
