PEOPLE across Worcestershire and Herefordshire are being encouraged to serve and volley this summer with two free Great British Tennis Weekends.

The first is on Saturday and Sunday with parks and clubs offering everyone the opportunity to get on court in the lead-up to the summer season.

They can take part in sessions including cardio tennis, mini-tennis and coaching for free as part of the Lawn Tennis Association and Tennis Foundation’s drive to get more people playing more often.

Venues will be providing rackets and balls.

They include Boughton Park and David Lloyd Club in Worcester, Kempsey, Manor Park in Malvern and The Lenches, Church Lench.

The second weekend will be on July 22 and 23.

Anyone interested can reserve a free place at lta.org.uk/gbtw.
