MALCOLM Bradley won Bransford seniors' popular Race to Bransford summer final which attracted a sizeable entry list.

The competition consists of the Summer Race to Bransford Trophy and associated prizes and the competition of the day with no one allowed to win more than one prize.

The main event, organised as usual by Mike Kemp, was competed for throughout the summer months with points accumulated for finishing positions in the regular Friday roll-ups which are then added to the final day’s stableford scores.

Coming out on top in a tight finish was Bradley who finished with 42.1 while John Knowles just pipped Graham Wilks to second spot on countback after both scored 41.2.

In fourth place was Roy Williams with 40 followed by Dave Ryall 39.1, Mike Davidge 37.7, Rob Wetton 37, Richard Steele 35.2 and Harry Godwin and Alan Wallcroft both 35.
