MALVERN Joggers' Alison Owens headed to Spanish town San Sebastián to complete her first marathon.

She recorded a time of three hours 28 minutes 14 seconds.

The Victory five-mile road race in Portsmouth involved Joggers' Julie Caseley. 

The two-lap course was fast, flat and twisty with a long hard-packed gravel path section and Caseley finished in 41.18.

In round three of the Herefordshire Cross Country League on farm land in Callow, near Hereford, Joggers' runners tackled a changed, undulating course with two laps and stream crossings.

Natalie Bennett was again the stand-out performer, finishing in eighth position for the women after running 51.04 while Viv Tolley finished in 1.15.38.

For the men, Martin Reed Darby was 66th in 53.36 while James Dance clocked 54.37, Andrew Brown 55.33, Paul Newman 55.42 and Ian Walwyn 1.04.39.

Emma Lodge and Tracy Taylor, who are part of Joggers' Couch 2 5K training plan, competed in the Yuletide 5km Jog for St Richard's Hospice in Evesham.

More than 200 turned out for the Cardington Cracker on a cold December day.

Over nine miles and 2,600 feet of climbing, Ian Dyson completed the course in 1.55.34.
