On a cold but sunny day, there was a record entry of nearly 200 runners with 167 finishers.

The flat multi-terrain route had to be changed at short notice due to flooding on the course adjacent to the River Avon.

Other Joggers' finishers were Simon Richardson (37.48), Mike Bolton (41.29), Steve Roode (43.21), Warwick Taylor (43.27), Alison Priest (44.54), Julie Caseley (49.34), Glyn Davies (49.41), Neil Coleman (51.27), Vivien Tolley (54.09), Helen Card (55.37), Emma White (57.33), Annie Robson (one hour five minutes 27 seconds) and Laura Williams (1.05.35).

On a cold and frosty morning across fields and styles, the Naunton Nearly 19 in Gloucestershire involved 1,450 feet of ascent and some descents.

Megz Judge did the race on her birthday and clocked 2.43.07, beating her 2016 time by 11 minutes for third woman overall.

She said: "I was extremely happy as it was an off-road race and I felt really strong.”

In 2.35.03, Chris Smallman was first Jogger back followed by Lynda Broadway and Mike Anstey in 4.00.04 and Steve Massey in 4.20.09.

Ahcène Bengriche secured his first Worcester Woods Parkrun victory in 18.45.

Caseley competed in the Worcestershire and Warwickshire County Cross-country Championships hosted by Worcestershire at Warley Woods.

The six-kilometre course for the ladies involved three large laps of the park which was undulating and muddy in places.

Caseley finished in 35.13.
