A MALVERN student sailed his way to success at a county schools regatta.
Kai Loudon, of The Chase school, took the honours in the Pico class trophy at the Worcester Schools Sailing and Canoeing Association's (WSSCA) annual regatta.
He was one of several Chase students who took part in the event, which took place at Upton Warren on July 4.
Kai is a year eight student at the Geraldine Road school and was praised by his teacher.
Chris Bell, leader of the sailing group, said: "I am delighted with Kai's success, he really deserves it."
