BROMYARD produced a battling performance but bowed out of the North Midlands Shield with a 54-22 defeat against higher-graded Evesham.
The visitors started strongly with four quick tries only for Bromyard to get into the game with a penalty try conceded at a scrum just on half-time.
Second-half tries from Bobby Ralph and John Pudge and a Toby Rivers penalty were not enough to match a well-drilled Evesham outfit.
