EVESHAM United's Evo-Stik Southern League Division One West match at home to Swindon Supermarine today has been postponed due to snow.

The Jubilee Stadium match joined a string of football postponements over the weekend.

Kidderminster Harriers' visit to Chorley in Vanarama National League North was called off early on Saturday morning.

Redditch United's Southern League Premier Division home match with Gosport Borough on their all-weather pitch was also postponed due to snow.

The Midland League programme was decimated with Bromsgrove Sporting, Westfields and Stourport Swifts all joining Worcester City, who were to visit AFC Wulfrunians, in being without a game in the Premier Division.

Pershore Town's game at Heath Hayes was called off but Littleton beat the weather and visitors Atherstone Town 2-1 in Division One.

In one of four matches in the division to go ahead, Joe Adams and Jordan Jones scored for Littleton with Adam Bilic replying.

Droitwich Spa's home clash with Knowle fell victim to the conditions as all Division Two fixtures were postponed.

Inkberrow against CT Shush in Division Three also did not take place.

It was the same story in the West Midlands League as the pitch was frozen solid for Malvern Town's scheduled Premier Division journey to face rivals Wellington in Herefordshire.

Bewdley Town, Pegasus Juniors and Hereford Lads Club also had enforced weekends off.

Worcester Raiders' Division One match at Wyrley was postponed along with Bromyard Town's home game with Wem Town.

All the McDonald's Worcester and District Sunday League matches were called off ahead of the morning with the snow looming.

Secretary Tim Phillips said on Saturday evening: "In view of the grim weather forecast, we have decided to postpone the whole Worcester League programme.

"In taking this decision, we took into account the difficulties that players, referees, club officials and spectators may have in travelling across the West Midlands."
