LEDBURY Rugby Club marched into Sunday’s North Midlands Under 15s Cup final with a 27-15 victory at Moseley.

The teenagers will be only the second Ledbury junior side to reach a final in the competition when they face Worcester at Luctonians.

In their rearranged semi-final, they soon settled into their own game on the artificial pitch after using a similar surface on tour inFilton.

Both sides competed aggressively and created chances but Ledbury had the edge.

The pack supplied good ball from scrums, line-outs and the loose for the backs to show off their skills.

Will Butler and Sam Prestwich, linking with full-back Cam Hunter, found gaps before releasing Steve Howie and Felix Jones on the wings.

George Hemingway and Will Butler kicked a penalty each and three conversions between them. Captain Ben Shimwell went over for two tries after Butler’s early opener.
